Odaily Planet Daily News According to monitoring by Matt Corva, a security incident occurred at MetaMask where a North Korean hacker named Tyler Knapp infiltrated the team. The hacker entered MetaMask as an outsourced contractor through a long-term partnered human resources supplier, bypassing the background checks involved in direct company hiring. After working at the company for one month, he participated in the development of the wallet's fiat on/off ramp feature. During this period, abnormal IP and behavioral patterns were detected by the company's security monitoring system. The company immediately revoked all his permissions and suspended the release of all products he had handled. Currently, no actual data or financial losses have been caused.
